My Story
I grew up with a fiddle in my hand in the heart of Sussex, where the local folk scene sparked my obsession with high-energy, rhythmic folk-fiddle playing. Those early days of honing my craft in the South of England laid the foundation for everything that followed, eventually leading me to step out as the frontman of Noble Jacks. What began as a deep-rooted love for traditional strings evolved into a career as a professional recording artist and a life lived on the road.
I’ve had the incredible honour of bringing my brand of foot-stomping folk to stages across the UK, Europe and afar, including the legendary Glastonbury Festival and the international stage of AmericanaFest Nashville. It was also an honour to be nominated as ‘Instrumentalist of the Year’ and ‘Best Live Act’ at the Americana Association UK Awards (and was a privilege to meet Robert Plant, Mike Scott and Mumford and Sons at the awards ceremony)!
With two Top 10 charting studio albums under my belt, I continue to bridge the gap between my traditional Sussex roots and the expansive world of contemporary Americana. Whether in the studio or mid-tour, my mission remains the same: to keep the fiddle at the forefront of the party.
On Stage
In the studio
The recording process has always been a highlight for me, and I’ve been fortunate enough to track my music in some of the UK’s most iconic spaces, from Metway Studio and Brighton Electric to Echo Zoo Studios in Eastbourne. I was absolutely delighted when these sessions translated into Top 10 Americana album chart success, a milestone that felt even more significant when our 2022 album, Last Of The Wild, was mastered in-session at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
More recently, I’ve ventured into new creative territory with the release of my debut solo album, 'Still Standing' (2024). This project allowed me to collaborate with some incredible talent, including co-writes with the acclaimed folk artist Steve Knightley of Show of Hands, and the addition of the formidable Cormac Byrne on bodhrán. It’s been a rewarding shift, blending that familiar folk-rock energy with a more personal, refined sound.
DEBUT SOLO ALBUM
STILL STANDING
Will Page releases debut solo album featuring collaboration with Steve Knightley (Show Of Hands).
Following the success of his debut single, ‘Strength To Carry On’, which was well received by the likes of Ralph Mclean (BBC Radio Ulster), Frank Hennessy (BBC Radio Wales) and Iain Anderson (BBC Radio Scotland), Will Page builds on a foundation of resilience and hope against the odds with his upbeat and heartfelt debut album, Still Standing.
Notably, Will has enjoyed collaborating with pedigree artists on various tracks on this album including none other than the legendary Steve Knightley (Show Of Hands) as well as bodhrán and percussionist Cormac Byrne (Seth Lakeman band, Show Of Hands, Uiscedwr)!
